Archives Notes
Moore County was established in 1871 from parts of Lincoln, Bedford, and Franklin counties. The Moore County Archives is housed in the basement of the County Building. We preserve local county government records as well as historical, family, and genealogical records. Records not housed in the Archives are still in the courthouse. We are handicap accessible.
